Concussion Management

OHSU Sports Medicine has been a national leader in concussion management and the return to play guidelines for high school sport. Oregon was the second state in the country to enact legislation providing a return to play protocol for high school athletes with concussions.

Dr. James Chesnutt, OHSU Sports Medicine medical director, is the Co-Director of the Oregon Concussion Awareness and Management Program (OCAMP). Watch him discuss OHSU Sports Medicine's Concussion Program.

OHSU Concussion Support Group

Concussions and injuries to the head affect each person differently, and quite often each individual develops unique and novel approaches for coping. If you have recently suffered a concussion or another type of head injury, please join us on the second Tuesday of the month from 7:30-8:00 PM at the Center for Health & Healing located on the South Waterfront.
